The high tech vehicle constructed for Qatar TV was shipped to the client immediately after IBC, accompanied by the auxiliary truck which had been built in parallel at the BTS facilities in Weiterstadt, Germany. Now, four weeks later, an identical twin pair of OB van and auxiliary truck has been completed and undergone factory acceptance test—the vehicles 557 and 558 have left the BTS premises and are on their way to Qatar to join the first two trucks 555 and 556.

These OB vans and auxiliary trucks are of special construction: They have to function in enormous heat and heavy dust, provide their services reliably anytime and allow productive working conditions for the staff. The patented drawer construction allows unrivaled huge working space in the van. The special know how of the BTS experts for such challenges and technical sophistication enable perfect performance. In the past BTS already delivered such high performance OB Vans to the Middle East & Africa region. Following site acceptance, BTS will conduct technical trainings in Qatar to introduce the sophisticated systems to the operators. After first trials all four vehicles will be in use during a multitude of events at the occasion of the Qatar National Day on December 18.
