The companies will explore market opportunities for Loctronix’s patented Spectral Compression Positioning™ (SCP) within the space and military industries. The companies are targeting applications that require highly-reliable, accurate, and low-cost positioning and navigation — particularly in cases where GPS alone is insufficient or unavailable. SCP addresses PNT needs for space as well as for terrestrial, marine, and airborne applications of interest to the DoD — such as Blue Force Tracking and UAV navigation. By extracting ranging observables from RF transmissions without demodulation, SCP makes it possible to implement a low-cost, lightweight, multi-band position sensor that supports a wide array of signals.
