[SatNews] MTN Satellite Communications (MTN), in conjunction with its partners Jetstream and e3 Systems, has announced that, after successful sea trials, that the Company's VSAT services have been selected for the 557-foot MY Eclipse, the world’s largest yacht. In addition to Eclipse, the BOYM-managed fleet under the same owner also includes Luna, Umbra, Pelorus, and Sussurro.

Four of the vessels will be equipped with C- and Ku-band antennas using DirectNet, a dedicated bandwidth service with guaranteed committed information rates (CIR’s) of 2 Mbps, with burstability up to 3 Mbps, to support Internet, voice and data services, online trading, and IPTV using The Jetstream media hosting solution. e3 Systems, MTN’s largest and Master Maritime Service Partner (MMSP) since 2005, will install and support the VSAT systems and services.
