What Customers Want 2011 to be released on June 28, is WTA’s annual project that explores customer attitudes, needs, concerns, buying preferences, and expectations of teleport and satellite service customers. The results of the project give WTA’s members a better understanding of what their customers need and how those needs can best be met.
In 2010, WTA focused on the media & entertainment market. The 2011 report focuses on the enterprise market, covering retail, hospitality, transportation, corporate and institutional networks, education, and the specialized sub-markets of resource extraction and maritime.
WTA's first installment in the What Customers Want focused on the media and entertainment industry and explored the thinking process of key buyers in North America and Europe as they are likely to affect their purchases of services and technology from teleport operators and their space segment partners.
On April 20, WTA issued it's latest report, How to Deliver High Quality of Service 24x7x365, that explores the practices of teleport operators in delivering high levels of service while balancing customer expectations, technology and human capital investment with the bottom line of the business.
