  • Niagara 7500 — Making its debut at NAB 2009, the Niagara 7500 simplifies the complex workflows associated with the transformation and delivery of HD video to IP and mobile networks. The Niagara 7500 features a sleek, innovative touch control interface with contextual menus that streamline and simplify the operation of this high-powered, dual quad core streaming appliance. The unit features SD and HD SDI video inputs, balanced/unbalanced analog and AES/EBU digital audio, and eight stereo pairs of embedded SDI audio inputs. Users can switch on-the-fly between incoming SD and HD video, and stream in multiple bit rates and resolutions simultaneously in Microsoft VC-1, Silverlight, and H.264 Flash Live. The Niagara 7500 includes powerful video preprocessing tools such as closed-caption rendering, de-interlacing, and inverse telecine. Users can control multiple Niagara 7500 systems remotely with the included Niagara SCX Pro management software.

  • ViewCast Niagara 2100 Niagara 2100 — The new Niagara 2100 is a streaming media appliance that allows even nontechnical personnel to stream high-quality live video. Its built-in web interface simplifies system set-up and operation, allowing complete system control from anywhere on the network. Users can simply set streaming parameters from the intuitive interface and then start streaming in multiple resolutions and bit rates with a single push of the front panel "stream" button. The Niagara 2100 is well suited for applications such as webcasting city council meetings, live events, and deploying executive messaging and online training for organizations. At just the size of a half-rack (1RU x 7.5"), the Niagara 2100 fits easily into any live production environment.

  • ViewCast Niagara Pro II Niagara Pro II — The Niagara Pro II is the nexgen of the acclaimed Niagara Pro streaming media appliance from ViewCast. Niagara Pro II excels at capturing, encoding, and streaming video and audio over the Internet and mobile networks for live viewing and video-on-demand applications. SimulStream and Niagara SCX Pro control and management software from ViewCast come standard with the Niagara Pro II. These applications allow users to manage the streaming workflow from a single user-friendly Web interface and enable a single video source to be streamed simultaneously at multiple resolutions, at multiple data rates, and in a variety of streaming formats.

  • ViewCast Niagara 8224 Niagara 8224 — The Niagara 8224, is designed and optimized to capture, encode, stream, and archive premium-quality audio and video simultaneously from eight fully independent channels. With eight independent channels, compared to one or two found on conventional encoders, the powerful Niagara 8224 delivers the workflow- and cost-efficiencies needed for demanding, multichannel government and security/law enforcement operations. The encoder accepts component, Y/C (S-Video), and composite analog video inputs and balanced and unbalanced stereo audio inputs. It also allows users to encode and stream media in real time, at multiple bit rates, in multiple formats, and multiple resolutions.
