Harris Tactical Radios To Upgrade Polish Forces' Comms
Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS)n has been awarded a contract totaling $20 million from the Polish Ministry of National Defense (MoND) to deliver a combination of multiband and HF tactical radios for Poland's Land and Special Operations Command Forces.
Harris is providing Poland with a range of products from its industry-leading Falcon family, including the AN/PRC-152 multiband handheld radio; the AN/PRC-117F multiband manpack radio and the AN/PRC-150 high frequency (HF) manpack radio. These radios will provide Polish forces with secure voice and data communications and provide seamless interoperability with U.S., NATO and coalition forces. All of the radios feature Harris software-defined architecture, enabling adaptability to changing mission requirements through software upgrades. In addition, the new technology will maintain interoperability with Harris legacy radios already deployed by Polish forces.
