SatService GmbH Strikes Up a New Band

sat-nms SatService GmbH (Gesellschaft für Kommunikationssysteme) releases its new sat-nms LRXD 14L-Band Distributor which is designed for satellite ground terminals where a 19-inch rack mount unit is not possible due to space limitations, for example in satellite news gathering terminals. SatSErvice GmbH will be at IBC 2008 in Amsterdam in Hall 1, Booth F55.

sat-nms-back The new sat-nms LRXD 14L-Band Distributor provides:
  • 4 L-band output ports
  • 14/18V and 22kHz tone switching initiated by contact closure interface, which allows to control the LNB’s Polarization and Frequency range
  • External supplied 10MHz reference is multiplexed on the L-Band interface to the LNC if applied to J2 10MHz input
  • The unit is powered by external 24V DC which is available in all satellite ground terminals
Internal amplifiers compensate for the loss of the distribution circuit. The signal distribution is realized with cascaded Wilkinson dividers that guarantee good frequency response and isolation between the different output ports.
