[SatNews] HISPASAT will participate in the XV edition of the Meeting of the Information Technology and Communications Sector, organized by the Association for Management Progress (APD) and the Association of Companies in the fields of Electronics, Information and Communications Technology, and of Telecommunications and Digital Content (AMETIC). This yea, the edition is entitled “The new productive model: ICT, growth and innovation”. This meeting, which is held the 12th and 13th of June in the Hotel Meliá Castilla in Madrid, will include the participation of Ignacio Sanchis, Business Director of HISPASAT, on the first day, who will speak about the role of the satellite as a driver of digital development within the panel dedicated to next generation infrastructure for a networked society.
In this edition, the Meeting focuses on the importance of the ICT sector and of the value added by these technologies when they contribute to the Spanish economy, as both are key elements for development in innovation and for the growth of companies and social wellbeing.

The meeting will be presented by José Manuel de Riva, president of AMETIC—Enrique Sánchez de León, general manager of APD, will be inaugurated by Engracia Hidalgo Tena, State Secretary for Employment, and will also feature the participation of well-known speakers in the sector.
