[SatNews] Talia, a provider of satellite services in the Middle East and Africa, will unveil expanded African services at the West African International Telecommunications & Information Technology Exhibition (WAfriTel) conference in Lagos, Nigeria, June 1-3, 2010. Talia currently operates C- and Ku-band services for West Africa through their teleport facility. Shared networks are based on the market-leading iDirect Evolution platform, and dedicated connections are available on a number of technologies. C-band connectivity is provided through Arabsat BADR-6, which will joined by pan-African C-band coverage on Arabsat 5A. Ku band services are on Telesat Telstar 11N.
