Monitoring SatCom Brings New System From L-3 TRL

L-3 TRL sat monitor brochure cover U.K. defence supplier L-3 TRL Technology is going to showcase their new IsatPhone Monitoring System (ISMS) at the ISS World MEA exhibition in Dubai later this month.

L-3 TRL’s new ISMS solution has been developed in response to increasing market demand for a reliable system that has the capability to monitor the IsatPhone network on both a strategic and tactical level. The IsatPhone service, provided by the Inmarsat-4 satellite (formally AceS), covers areas of the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The ISMS solution will be a valuable addition to L-3 TRL’s advanced range of satellite monitoring systems, which can already be used to monitor the Inmarsat, Thuraya, and VSAT networks, providing government and defence agencies with a complete solution to passively monitor communications without network interference. L-3 TRL can also provide customers with portable solutions which have been designed for rapid field-deployment to monitor satellite-to-ground traffic in line-of-sight operations.
