CETel and Sudasat have signed a joint capacity agreement on Arabsat’ recently launched BADR-6 satellite, using a full 36 MHz transponder for expanded service offerings in Africa, the GCC, and Middle East market region. Both companies are joining forces to take advantage of CETel’s premier position to up- and downlink this additional satellite capacity via its recently installed 9,3m Vertex antenna. The additional transponder capacity on Arabsat’s prime BADR-6 satellite will further serve the overwhelming demand for C-band services in those market regions.
