SSPI’s 3rd annual Future Leaders Dinner was held on October 14, at The 3 West Club in Manhattan. A portion of the proceeds from the banquet and awards ceremony went to SSPI’s educational fund for scholarship and intern grants for students aiming for careers in the satellite industry. The SSPI Future Leaders Dinner serves as the social networking event which anchors “Satellite Week NYC,” when a range of industry events and conferences are scheduled throughout the week.

SSPI Looks To Future Leaders With Awards
The Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) has selected David Cavossa, Vice President, SATCOM, Arrowhead Global Solutions; Nick Mitsis, Manager, Corporate Communications, Intelsat, and Yvette Dominguez, Manager, Payload Design Section, Space Systems/Loral to be honored with “Promise Awards” which recognize young leaders in the satellite communications industry.
