SENCORE... First SatMod To Shine @ NAB (SatBroadcasting™)

During the 2010 NAB Show, SENCORE will unveil its first DVB-S2 modulator, a cost-effective family of fixed-format receiver/decoders, and a multichannel transcoding platform that delivers high reliability at an unbeatable cost-per-channel. Packaged in a two-channel, 1RU chassis, SENCORE's new SMD 989 DVB-S2 Modulator performs multistream DVB-S2 modulation for video and audio broadcast delivery via satellite.

The SMD 989 delivers one or two independent DVB-S2 modulations with up to six streams in each, with no need for outboard devices. The compact single-rack SMD 989 minimizes transponder usage, saves space, reduces cabling and troubleshooting, and lowers the cost of up-front investment. SENCORE's IRD 3000 series of cost-effective receiver/decoders distributes video services in any network with a targeted application. Suitable for the international and domestic broadcast, satellite, cable, hospitality, and IPTV markets, SENCORE IRD 3000 receiver/decoders fit easily into existing SD infrastructure and offer facilities a cost-effective, field-upgradable path to HD for the future. The new TXS 3453 Transcoder offers real-time, best-in-class transcoding in a reliable, high-density 1RU chassis. With a configurable search engine and multichannel architecture, the SENCORE TXS 3453 provides broadcast, cable, and satellite operators with the most cost-effective solution for their specific transcoding needs.
