The Outstanding Achiever award was designated for an individual in a position of authority who has overseen a major product for a broadcaster or for a service provider. Kahhaleh was nominated for the work he has done over the past two years for ONE CONNXT, from its conception to its maturity as a proven leader in the broadcast industry.
ONE CONNXT was developed as a way to dependably transmit a broadcast TV signal over IP. A reliable, cost-effective broadcasting system was considered urgent for the fast growing broadcasting sector in the Middle East as well as other areas of the world. ONE CONNXT’s adoption by broadcast companies continues to grow in the Middle East and throughout Europe and the Pacific Rim Prior to his role for ONE CONNXT, Kahhaleh was a major player in the Middle East broadcast and information technology industries. He obtained his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT.edu.jo). He also consulted with numerous well-known companies including Oracle Systems Ltd, USAID, Microsoft-Jordan and the Ministry of Education in Jordan.
“We are so proud of Fadi and the work that he has done for ONE CONNXT,” according to Paul Dingwitz, Chief Technology Officer for ONE Media Corp, the parent company of ONE CONNXT. “He represents the best of the Middle East broadcast industry. For years, the role of Middle Easterners in the broadcast industry was limited to users, or, resellers of technology. Fadi represents a new generation of Middle Easterners developing, building and creating technology.”
