Vishay Intertechnology Quicker To Market To Meet Demand

[SatNews] When your product is in demand, the quicker to market the better, and so it is...

In a move to meet the increasing demand for faster time to market for equipment manufacturers, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced new shorter lead times for its CDR MIL-qualified multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). For mission-critical military and aerospace applications, Vishay's customers can now begin assembly with these devices in as little as six weeks.

Manufactured and tested per MIL-PRF-55681 (CAGE CODE SHV71), the company's type CDR devices are available with BP and BX dielectrics and are offered in 10 case sizes ranging from 0805 to 1825. The devices offer a capacitance range from 1.0 pF to 470 nF and voltages from 50 VDC to 100 VDC.

Vishay's CDR MLCCs are manufactured in Noble Metal Electrode (NME) Technology with a wet build process, and offer an operating temperature range of - 55 degrees C to + 125 degrees C. The devices feature a variety of termination options, including tin/lead (codes "Z" and "U") and lead (Pb)-free terminations (codes "W," "Y," "M"). The capacitors are compliant to RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC and halogen-free according to the IEC 61249-2-21 definition. Production quantities of the CDR MIL-qualified MLCCs are available now, with lead times of six to 11 weeks.
