CET Teleport GmbH

SatNews Publisher Silvano Payne and Jodi Morelli Principal of Global Media Marketing
The Teleport currently provides a wide range of media broadcasting and corporate VSAT services and offers Direct-To-Home (DTH) Multiplexed services to suit the individual needs of various channel owners.
Access to BT's Global Media Network (GMN) allows for the transmission of video enabled MPLS data and voice services. This considerably increases CET's reach and flexibility by accessing a worldwide fiber network.
CET Teleport has direct fiber connectivity with both the BT Tower and Telehouse switching centers in London. MPLS IVNP protocol is used with ASI interfacing to offer resilient and adaptable transmission facilities. The STM fiber link is bi-directional and fully redundant.
O3b

Luisa Sorrentino, VP, Marketing Communications, O3b Networks Ltd.
According to John Finney, executive vice president, sales and marketing, “O3b was started with a vision to connect the unconnected. O3b’s importance is significant for the people we will serve, who without us, will not have the economic relevance, potential and opportunity which we all believe is so important. 2009 was a strong year for us in achieving this objective. Everyone member of our team, our vendors and consultants and even our customers have embraced this vision”
ViaLite of Pulse Power and Measurement Ltd

Martin Ryan, Sales and Marketing Director
PPM's ViaLite interfacility fiber links provide a reliable, high performance, cost effective alternative to conventional coax-cable systems. The L-band and 70/140MHz product variants cover 950-2150MHz and 10-200MHz respectively. They are suitable for the transmission over single mode optical fiber of downconverted C, X and Ku band signals. The links are also suitable for the transmission of L-band signals directly.
The fiber links provide a transparent connection between the satellite antenna with its up/down-converters, and the control room modems. The use of optical fiber overcomes problems inherent in copper based solutions including electrical interference, path length and electrical safety isolation.
