Entertainment Studios has selected electronic media services provider Crawford Communications, Inc. for its transmission of six H) television networks, initially launching on Verizon’s FiOS TV.

Entertainment Studios’ six HD television networks are: CARS.TV, PETS.TV, COMEDY.TV, MYDESTINATION.TV, ES.TV, and RECIPE.TV.  The networks are global in scope and will provide multi-platform content, giving viewers the ability to watch the content on television, online, and mobile phones. Entertainment Studios sends HD content from its Los Angeles headquarters to Crawford’s hub in Atlanta for turnkey HD origination services. From ingest and content management to playout and quality control, Crawford monitors these networks 24/7 for seamless broadcasts.  Crawford uplinks the signals to SES AMERICOM’s AMC-18 satellite via an MPEG-4 HD MCPC mux for U.S. distribution.
