While many are seeking employment, good news comes from the Space Foundation for college students and transitioning military looking for jobs in the space industry.  First, the outlook for landing a well-paid professional position in space and aeronautics is stronger than most other career tracks.  And, second, high-caliber employers looking for candidates will gather in Colorado Springs on April 2 for the seventh annual Space Career Fair, held in conjunction with the 25th National Space Symposium.

Open to college students and transitioning military with degrees or experience in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or business administration, the Space Career Fair is the leading source of information regarding current and future career opportunities, industry trends, and upcoming space-related workforce needs. Early Bird Registration, a savings of half regular registration, is open through February 27.

The 25th National Space Symposium, the premier annual gathering of the global space community, will take place March 30 - April 2 at The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. The location and timing of the Space Career Fair provide unique opportunities for attendees to meet, interact, and potentially interview with a diverse range of space companies. Previous Space Career Fairs have attracted more than 300 attendees from across the country, along with many of the largest employers in the space industry. Admission to the Space Career Fair includes "Meet the Company" presentations, use of the Space Career Fair Cyberspace center, and opportunities to submit resumes to participating companies. Pre-registration is required. The first 300 paid registrants receive a complimentary buffet-style lunch. The deadline for registration is Friday, March 27.
