...they were awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price, supply contract for the procurement of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Information Operations (IO), and Information Awareness (IA) equipment and related incidental support services in support of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic. There were nine contracts awarded that include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these contracts to an estimated $500,000,000.
“We are pleased to be able to continue our support to SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic,” said Jeremy Wensinger, Chief Operating Officer, GTSI. “This award allows GTSI to widen its business of supporting Naval engineering customers.” Under this contract, GTSI would provide infrastructure in communications, digitizers, GPS tactical workstations, video surveillance and tactical local area networking (LAN) equipment as well as selected sensors. In July 2011, GTSI was one of five prime contractors that received a contract award in support of the $500 million COTS audio/visual technology and related support services multiple award contract.
