Brüel & Kjær VTS is delighted to have been "highly commended" at the Best Factory Awards 2011, which took place in London last Friday.

The company was a runner-up in the Best Electronics & Electrical Plant category. Having entered for the awards in March 2011, Bruel & Kjaer VTS was subsequently shortlisted for three categories: Best Electronics and Electrical Plant, People Management Award and Judge’s Special Award. All nominated plants were also eligible for nomination for the Factory of the Year category.

Vice President Brüel & Kjær Vibration Test Systems, Dr Lawrence Grasty said: “This is a great achievement for everyone at the Royston facility and a sure sign that we are on the right development path as a business.”

He added: “I am very proud of the Brüel & Kjær VTS staff for their hard work and support - not only during the judging period, but over the years - to develop and improve the business. The Best Factory awards were created by Works Management Magazine & Cranfield University School of Management.
