Integral Systems Service Solutions (IS3) has been awarded a contract by the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) to provide worldwide interference geolocation services.
Under the terms of the contract, IS3 will provide U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), a sub-unified command subordinate to USSTRATCOM, with commercial satellite geolocation services.
The Geolocation Services contract provides USCYBERCOM's Global SATCOM Support Center (GSSC), located at Peterson AFB, Colo., access to actionable information via IS3's global network of Monics(R) advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) monitoring sensors, satID(R) geolocation systems and tri-band (C-, X- and Ku-band) antennas. These
systems constitute a comprehensive Interference Detection and Geolocation (iDetGeo) network, installed at 11 commercial teleports around the world, to provide robust Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) detection capabilities to quickly and accurately identify, characterize and geolocate sources of unintentional or deliberate interference
affecting leased commercial communication satellites. The contract provides comprehensive geolocation services for commercial communication satellites leased by the U.S. Government through September 30, 2011.
