Xiplink has named Warren Brown as the company’s new senior vice president of marketing.

Mr. Brown, a veteran of The Boeing Company, Iridium Satellite, iDirect Technologies and most recently vice president of strategic communications for Deltek Inc. has considerable experience in satellite, software and aerospace markets, which is an ideal background for XipLink’s wireless optimization technology. Additionally, Mr. Brown will oversee XipLink’s Sales and Marketing headquarters site in Reston, Virginia as General Manager of that facility. In his previous role at Deltek Inc., a project-based enterprise software provider, Warren was responsible for promoting the company’s image globally. Among many key efforts, Warren was responsible for guiding the company’s image through the Initial Public Offering phase which garnered greatly increased awareness and resulted in a globally recognized marketing communications award.
