Contractually Cognizant: GSA Over the past decade, Federal Government customers have procured Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) services through a combination of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and General Services Administration (GSA) contract vehicles.

With the upcoming expiration of multiple contracts in the 2011-2012 timeframe, and to increase cooperation among federal agencies, DISA and GSA have agreed on a joint strategy to replace the expiring contracts.
