Kazakhstan... Full Operational Status (Satellite)


[SatNews] The Kazakh KazSat-2 satellite is reportedly operating in...

....normal mode, the Republican center of Space communication for Kazakhstan said on Saturday. The second Kazakh communications and broadcasting satellite, which was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, has been passing air-design tests and has now been commissioned for full operation.

"At the moment, 'KazSat-2' is working in normal mode in geostationary orbit at 86.5 degree east longitude. All systems are working in normal mode," the statement said. Actual commercial use of the satellite started on December 10, 2011. More than 130 ground stations are working with KazSat-2. (Source: TREND News Agency)
