ISPCS—Innovation Insights (Event)

[SatNews] A platform for innovation allows industry to make leaps in knowledge and, as such, it can become a disruptive technology of the best kind.

The potential and substantial rewards these platforms bring must always be measured against risk and barriers. Often, a platform's success is not dependent on a person, but a coalescence of many people working together.

Both suborbital vehicle platforms being developed by Virgin Galactic and Blue Origin are potential platforms for innovation. They have partnered with NASA Flight Opportunities, potentially another platform for innovation. ISPCS looks to examine platforms via a panel discussion entitled "Platforms for Innovation."

Speakers on this panel include:

  • Steve Isakowitz, President, Virgin Galactic
  • Brett Alexander, Director of Business and Development and Strategy, Blue Origin
  • LK Kubendran, Flight Opportunities Program Executive, NASA
