SAT Corporation... Know Your Spectrum

SAT Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Integral Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISYS), is now taking orders for its nexgen SAT-DSP instrument. The SAT-DSP-5000 is the cornerstone of a Monics or SAT-DSA Carrier Monitoring and Interference Detection System and is based on the DG5000 Digitizer from its sister company, RT Logic.

The SAT-DSP-5000 features a 1RU Chassis with an integrated L-band Tuner and is controlled through a Gigabit Ethernet connection. Customers already using SAT-DSP with their Monics or SAT-DSA system can purchase just the Digitizer Assembly and use their existing L-band Tuner. The SAT-DSP-5010 comes with onboard decimation and features significantly faster measurement speed than its predecessor especially for narrow carriers. The new SAT-DSP instrument is available now from SAT Corporation as well as other Integral Systems companies, including Newpoint Technologies and Integral Systems Europe (ISE).

“Customers will find that that the SAT-DSP-5000 with the onboard decimation option significantly increases measurement speed and improves system response time,” said Doug Krudop, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at SAT Corporation. “Improved system response time allows faster resolution of RF system or interference issues and can result in higher customer up time and therefore increased revenues. The higher speeds of the new digitizer also allow new capabilities such as Automatic Monitoring of TDMA Networks and enhanced TDMA Spectrogram.”
