[SatNews] Inmarsat (LSE:ISAT) has a new Senior Director.

The Company appointed Frank Coles as Senior Director - Maritime Services, for their Global Xpress program. With 34 years of experience in the maritime industry, Mr. Coles has been able to apply a wealth of knowledge and offer the mariner and ship owner exactly what is needed to do accomplish their projects and successfully run their businesses. Coles was formerly the CEO and President of Globe Wireless, leading the development of the innovative Globe iFusion solution, launched in 2010. Coles is a Master Mariner, with a Master’s Degree in Maritime Law from University of Wales, Cardiff, and he served 12 years as a deck officer at sea. This was followed by five years as a lawyer at Richards Butler (London) and Stephenson Harwood & Lo (Hong Kong). His previous experience also includes the position of General Manager with Pacific Basin Bulk Shipping.
