Moving On Up... At BBN Technologies...

BBN Technologies has announced Jeffrey Feinberg has joined the company as Vice President, Advanced Networking Systems. Feinberg will lead a team of 70 scientists and engineers who implement BBN's leading edge research to develop networking systems for challenging environments and critical missions. The BBN unit Feinberg now leads is best known for expertise in wireless, ad hoc networks; satellite technology and security; and low power networks. Feinberg brings nearly 20 years of experience in network technology management, including previous roles at BBN Technologies. As Executive Director at Verizon Federal Network Systems, Feinberg managed a staff of more than 700 people worldwide focused on operating and enhancing mission critical network infrastructure for the DOD, DOE, and Intelligence community. Feinberg had full P&L responsibility for the group and accomplished significant growth in his five year tenure. Prior to joining Federal Network Systems, Feinberg held Vice President level positions at Allegiance Telecom and Genuity, Inc. In both of these positions he was responsible for rolling out high capacity and remote access services and the associated financial results. Earlier in his career, Feinberg successfully managed large communications programs for BBN's government customers.
