International Datacasting Corporation (the "Corporation") (TSX:IDC), a digital content distribution for the world's broadcasters, announced today that its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the Toronto Board of Trade, 1 First Canadian Place, 77 Adelaide Street West, Toronto, Ontario, commencing at 11:00 a.m. (Toronto time). The delivery to shareholders in Canada of the Notice of Meeting, Management Proxy Circular and form of Proxy (the "Meeting Materials") in connection with the Meeting will be delayed due to the ongoing labour disruption at Canada Post Corporation. The Corporation has made alternate arrangements to deliver the Meeting Materials to registered shareholders and non-objecting beneficial shareholders with addresses outside of Canada. The Meeting Materials will be delivered to shareholders with addresses in Canada as soon as possible after postal delivery services resume.

In the meantime, a copy of each of the Notice of Meeting, Management Proxy Circular and form of Proxy (for use by those shareholders who do not attend the meeting in person), may be found on SEDAR at www.sedar.com or on the Corporation's website at www.datacast.com.
