Skyview Networks — Ensuring There Is A Receiving End (SatBroadcasting™)

Skyview Networks, an integrated professional sports broadcasting and advertising company that specializes in satellite distribution and automation systems, has released their new X-Digital XDS Pro-1 and Pro-4 satellite receivers to its radio network of more than 400 professional sports and news affiliates. The XDS Pro receivers allow copy split-spot insertion at the station level and store-forward technology with time-shifting ability. This provides Skyview the technology to air multiple versions of advertiser’s campaigns simultaneously.

The initial rollout of the X-Digital XDS Pro receivers to Skyview’s radio affiliate base of more than 400 stations started on February 23, 2010. The receivers will provide affiliates with a flexible system that includes program selection, live audio record and playback (time shifting), store and forward media, copy split-spot insertion and accountability. The XDS Pro receiver rollout is part of Skyview’s overall goal of streamlining its distribution platform and services to provide its affiliate network and advertising clients with the most current and sound technology available.
