digiGO! — Moving Content With Alacrity Is An Artel Goal

Artel Video Systems graphic Artel Video Systems has released three new modules for the DL4000 Digital Video Transport System

The release of the DLC300, DLC170AD, and DLC170DA expand DL4000 capabilities to include 3G-SDI optical transport, optical protection, and analog to digital video format conversion. The DLC300 is a multipurpose module for optical transport of all digital video formats from 19.39Mb/s (SMPTE 310M) to 3G-SDI (SMPTE 424M). It can be configured as a receiver, transmitter, or repeater and includes numerous features such as redundant SFP optics with automatic failover switching, ATSC to DVB-ASI conversion, SDI test signal generation, and dithering or scrambling of SDI signal for transport across optical networks. The DLC170AD converts Analog video and audio to SDI and AES audio while the DLC170DA converts SD-SDI to Analog video and audio ‑- both units include optical transport.  The DLC300 and DLC170AD/DA use the same high power SFP (Small Form Pluggable) optics used with other DL4000 function modules in WDM, CWDM, and DWDM wavelengths.
