iDirect Hub Plays Important Role For SimbaNET

iDirect + SimbaNET logos iDirect, Inc., a company of VT Systems Inc (VT Systems), announced SimbaNET Nigeria, a service provider and systems integrator based in Africa, has launched an iDirect network over Nigeria and West Africa. With the new network, SimbaNET Nigeria will introduce additional bandwidth capacity to support more advanced enterprise applications for existing corporate and government customers in the region. The company will also expand service to new verticals such as banking and insurance.

SimbaNET Nigeria has installed an iDirect hub and purchased capacity on multiple satellites to provide high-speed data and Internet broadband over VSAT. The company’s network will support core business applications for enterprise customers, including Voice over IP (VoIP) and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). The network is designed to provide real-time connectivity that multi-branch corporations require to enable business automation and work flow processes, while ensuring seamless high-speed access for latency-sensitive applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). SimbaNET Nigeria will also operate in the region as a system integrator and offer additional VSAT connectivity services through its parent technology company, the Simba Group. SimbaNET Nigeria will offer a variety of value-added services for telecommunications operators including call center infrastructure, Voice Short Message Service (SMS), consultancy and project management. The company also sells a full range of VSAT equipment, including modems and antennas.
