Newpoint Systems [Integral Systems]... Driving Faster Development Time (SatCom)

[SatNews] This driver program has been expanded... Integral Systems, Inc., (Nasdaq:ISYS) announced at the CommunicAsia 2011 exhibition and conference in Singapore, that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Newpoint Technologies, has expanded its free driver program to include SNMP interfaces into satellite and transmission equipment. The new version of COMPASSSNMP Manager makes it even easier to manage SNMP equipment, virtually eliminating the development time required to interface SNMP equipment into a COMPASS Network Management System (NMS). Users will also be able to auto-discover SNMP-enabled devices on the network, quickly and easily import all or part of the Management Information Base (MIB) and automatically build out device-detailed screens for effective equipment management. Previously, Newpoint Technologies offered free driver development for serial and proprietary Ethernet equipment when purchasing a COMPASS software license or for customers under COMPASS Gold maintenance plans. With the new version of COMPASS SNMP Manager, customers will receive the SNMP interfaces at no charge.
