ThurayaRecharge Proves It Pays To Pre-Pay

Thuraya A new program that should prove most helpful to those in remote areas is underway fromThuraya, that provides a convenient recharging service for pre-paid Thuraya phone users. The new service, ThurayaRecharge, enables subscribers to instantly top up their accounts by phone or online. Available this week, ThurayaRecharge eases the current recharging system that requires the use of a scratch card, E-Voucher or contacting a Thuraya Service Provider that is sometimes not possible when users are in remote locations, or are out of credit. ThurayaRecharge's partner is Australian-based FoneRecharge. Thuraya pre-paid subscribers should first register on FoneRecharge’s website (www.fonerecharge.com) then purchase air time while using their personal credit card, by making a phone call to a toll-free number or visiting www.fonerecharge.com to request airtime. Both methods allow instant access to credit and reduce the need to find an outlet for physical scratch cards or the E-Voucher.

Thuraya 2510 “ThurayaRecharge is a streamlined service that is so simple to use, and so appropriate for our voice users, especially those who are located in the remotest of areas. Customers now are guaranteed air time at all times making Thuraya the ideal communication solution because they have access to vast coverage, an extremely advanced telephone and constant capacity for communication,” said Thuraya’s CCO Dr. Sven Rohte. Thuraya has one of the world’s smallest satellite handheld telephones with GPS services. Photo on left Thuraya 2510
