Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) hosted the 95th meeting of NATO's Air Force Armaments Group at its facility here this week.

The NATO Air Force Armaments Group, also known as NAFAG, is one of the three Main Armament Groups in NATO. It reports to the Conference of National Armaments Director (CNAD). The CNAD, in turn, reports directly to the North Atlantic Council, the ultimate authority in NATO. NAFAG is responsible for promoting cooperation and standardization in the area of aerospace armaments including joint activities and information exchange.

The NAFAG meeting included an industry day held today with displays and demonstrations presenting Northrop Grumman-developed technology and systems capable of supporting NATO's peace- and war-time operations. Displays on exhibit for NAFAG members featured numerous systems including the Global Hawk high altitude, long endurance unmanned reconnaissance system; the U.S. Navy RQ-4N Broad Area Maritime Surveillance unmanned aircraft system; the U.S. Navy E-2 Hawkeye airborne early warning system; the U.S. Air Force E-8 Joint STARS; and the Cyber Warfare Integration Network, a Northrop Grumman-developed modeling and simulation system.
