Hala Lake - is the salt lake in north-eastern part of Haisi-Mongolian-Tibet autonomous area of the Chinese Qinghai Province. It is also known as the Heihai Lake, which means "Black Sea" in Chinese.
Hala Lake is located at the bottom of Qilian mountains, which highest peak is the Kangze'Gyai mountain (5817 m). On October 7, 2009 it was conquered by the Chinese alpinists, who climbed up the untraveled yet western slope.
