The new station was recently installed with cooperation and logistical assistance from Panama’s Autoridad Aeronautica Civil, and with support from Copa Airlines, an extensive user of this service. The new station reinforces ARINC’s HFDL signal coverage in the Caribbean and along the Pacific coast of Central and South America, adding an extra channel for increased messaging capacity. ARINC’s GLOBALink High Frequency aeronautical voice and data link services are delivered over a network of 15 HF stations in key locations around the world. These HF services are uniquely cost-effective, delivering seamless coverage even on the remote Polar Routes. ARINC’s HF services provide an attractive alternative to more costly satellite-based communications offerings.
