Satcom Direct + AirCare Solutions Group...

[SatNews] Care in the air is becoming an even more important market segment within our industry.

Satcom Direct and AirCare Solutions Group (ASG) have entered into a product-related partnership that will allow Satcom Direct to offer ASG’s ACCESSAssistance tele-medical and travel support services as one of their exclusive airborne services. AirCare ACCESS™ Assistance is a 24/7/365 tele-medical and tele-assistance service dedicated to business aviation flight departments. Customers with ACCESS Assistance can receive medical assistance from board-certified physicians, emergency medical equipment training and medical kit management. ACCESS Assistance also includes ACCESSiJet™ that includes active flight tracking of Satcom Direct FlightDeck Freedom™ (FDF) customers plus custom safety briefings and worldwide concierge services and support. As part of the agreement, Satcom Direct FDF customers will now be able to subscribe to ACCESS™ Assistance directly through Satcom Direct, with charges on a single invoice.

With this agreement, ACCESS Assistance will have the ability to track FDF aircraft while establishing proactive services that minimize any vulnerability before, during and after each flight. Using ACCESS Assistance, customers can request automatic security and safety reports based on their trip legs and final destination, while FDF enables contact with the crew via text or voice to alert them of situations on the ground such as natural disasters, regional health epidemics, socio-political unrest and cultural or religious events and observances. ACCESS Assistance supports hundreds of operators worldwide and also includes other services that customers use daily for every flight, such as destination security reports, concierge services, lost documentation or luggage support, remote prescriptions and more. AirCare Solutions Group is participating in the 7th Annual Satcom Direct Connecting with Customers Conference at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel from March 1 – 3. This event is where flight departments, military and industry experts gather to discuss the latest developments in satellite communications services and hardware.
