[SatNews] For the first time, DEV Systemtechnik will present its products and services at the conference and trade fair Satellite 2011, March 15 – 17, in Washington, D.C.

The main exhibit will be the Optribution – Optical Transmission and Distribution of RF Signals product line to optically transmit, receive, switch, and distribute RF signals in satellite communication and CATV systems. Furthermore, DEV Systemtechnik will announce the opening of a sales office in the USA. Optribution covers the entire spectrum of functionalities between antenna and receiver. The user gets more functions in less space at lower cost. An example is the DEV 7113 Intelligent Optribution Chassis, which transmits up to 40 RF signals. Building upon a highly positive reception at the European ANGA Cable and IBC trade fairs, DEV decided to cross the Atlantic to bring its leading-edge technology for the optical handling of RF signals to North America.
