The satellite industry in the Asia-Pacific region acknowledges an increase in demand for High Definition Television (HDTV) broadcast and turnaround services; the opening of Direct-to-Home (DTH) markets in China and India; and a number of broadband services via satellite significantly increasing in Asian countries and Australia. APSCC 2008 Satellite Conference and Exhibition, scheduled for September 22-25 at the Hotel Lotte in Jeju Island, Korea, brings experts from the international satellite industry to provide their insight.
