2009 has seen the CET Teleport growing its portfolio of services and this has been reflected in its improved position in the annual World Teleport Association (WTA) top twenty categories. In 2008, CET Teleport GmbH was ranked 11 in the Fast Twenty and 20 in the Independent Top Twenty categories. This year, they have improved their position in both groups moving up four places to rank 7 and 11 respectively.  

The WTA publishes the only annual world rankings for commercial teleport operators, including independent operators, satellite carriers, fibre carriers and technology providers. Rankings are based on total revenue and year-on-year growth and with more than 1,800 teleports operating worldwide, a ranking in any top twenty category is impressive and a sign of world-class status.
