Vizada Enables More Inmarsat C To Store And Push (Satcom)

[SatNews] More Inmarsat C with SkyFile® C Store & Push SkyFile® C Store & Push is available from the new Inmarsat C Internet gateway, available via the Vizada Network in Aussaguel.

It allows you to send poll commands and EGC (FleetNet + SafetyNet) and to receive data reports by email and/or TCP/IP using the latest internet technology.

SkyFile® C Store & Push was developed due to Vizada’s experience in Inmarsat C technology. Using the most recent IP innovations, it is designed to provide our customers
  • More reliability: stores data reports for several days in a database which allows retransmission in case of network failure.
  • More security: adds security features to email by using PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) and TCP push to primary or back-up IP destination, ensuring automatic IP-address switching.
  • More flexibility: data report delivery to multiple destinations and allows for customized data report delivery via either DNID (traditional method) or member number (new).
  • More advanced services: supports multi-mode delivery. TCP push with delivery follow up; SMTP, FTP and web services coming soon. Polling over html also available.

The SkyFile® C Store & Push provides more security and reliability in addition to increased flexibility for Inmarsat C users and is especially suited for Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) and other tracking users, Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA).

Important note: If you have used polling & data reporting in the past through Aussaguel, please make sure to migrate to the new platform before the end of April as the previous platform will be terminated. For information on the migration, please contact Vizada Customer Care.
