At the Africa Com conference in Cape Town, South Africa, XipLink announced STS Communications (PTY) Ltd. as the latest addition to its global network of Value Added Distributors. STS Communications (STSC), based in the republic of South Africa, is a provider of turnkey satellite and network optimization solutions for the Southern and Sub-Saharan African telecommunications market.

STSC will provide delivery, logistics support, installation and commissioning for XipLink’s XA-Series of appliances and the Company's recently announced XipStick™ portable optimizer throughout the region. XipLink’s XA-Series of wireless optimizers include a range of industrial computing appliances scaling from 2 Mbps and 50 connections to very high performance systems running at 155 Mbps and 30,000 simultaneous connections for the largest of installations. The XipStick™ is a palm sized portable optimizer that delivers complete XipOS functionality to mobile users.
