UltiSat... Providing For U.S. Global Provisioning Needs (SATCOM)


[SatNews] UltiSat Inc. has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) contract....

....under the Custom SATCOM Solutions – Small Business (CS2-SB) program. This contract vehicle, with projected spending of up to $900M over the next five years, allows U.S. government agencies to acquire professional satellite engineering services and customized end-to-end commercial satellite communications solutions via prequalified small business industry partners.

CS2-SB is a three-year base indefinite delivery/indefinite quality (ID/IQ), multiple award vehicle, with two one-year options that can be used by the U.S. government to acquire SATCOM services anywhere in the world. It provides global end-to-end solutions of any combination of fixed satellite service, mobile satellite service and/or service-enabling components such as terminals, teleport, and terrestrial interface tail circuits. It can also be used to procure the engineering services needed to integrate, operate, and maintain solutions. Examples of networks that UltiSat can provide under this vehicle include:

  • Emergency response and disaster recovery communications systems
  • Satellite-based backup communications networks
  • Distributed distance learning networks
  • Communications on the move and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (COTM/ISR) solutions
