SAT CORP's SigMon Signed On For RF Monitoring

Integral Systems, Inc.'s (Nasdaq:ISYS) subsidiary, SAT Corporation, was awarded a US$4.3 million, 18-month contract to upgrade the Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) Frequency Control and Analysis (FCA) system. SAT Corporation's SigMon Radio Frequency (RF) Interference Detection and Geolocation Solution will provide full RF spectrum monitoring for training and test missions involving extended range operations.

SAT CORP SigMon brochure cover The FCA system is an integral part of the systems used by UTTR to ensure safe flight operations, as well as support operational training and weapons system test and evaluation requirements. The upgraded FCA system will enhance the ability of the UTTR to support monitoring and analysis of all electromagnetic emissions on the range and provide complete analytical capability for pulse modulated RF transmissions in support of simulated threat activities. Under the terms of the contract, SAT Corporation will deliver an upgraded FCA System based on the company's Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) SigMon RF Interference Detection and Geolocation product line. The new SigMon-based FCA system will provide enhanced capability for RF spectral analysis, signal direction finding, geolocation, and pulsed code analysis. The system will be deployed using a mix of fixed and mobile assets. It will be fully operable from a central location to allow remote operation of assets in isolated or hazardous locations, and provide real-time data analysis and mapping of RF emitters.
