- Moving On Up — Keith Ng has joined the satellite equipment manufacturer Advent Communications as Sales Manager for China and South East Asian markets. He will be responsible for developing Advent’s broadcast, government and defence business within the region. The company manufactures flyaways, vehicle-mounted antennas, and has managed a number of major fixed earth station infrastructure projects. To date, Advent has customers in over 90 countries in the Broadcast and Government sectors.
- Business — DataPath, Inc. has been selected by WildBlue Communications, Inc. to provide long-term operations and maintenance services. DataPath services will support a network of 11 Ka-band gateway earth stations at seven locations. These earth stations enable WildBlue Satellite Speed Internet services, which provide affordable broadband Internet connectivity to consumers and businesses in remote or underserved areas in the contiguous United States.
