[SatNews] Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) is joining forces with South Africa’s Concilium Technologies to provide broadcasters on-site service and support prior to and during the upcoming football games in South Africa. Harris ServicePAK support contracts are available to all Harris customers on location prior to and for the duration of the games — customers are encouraged to register with Harris in advance to ensure the right equipment inventory and technical support are available throughout the event.

Depending on the level of support selected, the ServicePAK contracts secure a mix of in-country Harris parts, equipment and technical support staff throughout a broadcaster's coverage of the event. Customers who currently hold a Gold ServicePAK that covers Harris products all year — or those who purchase a Gold ServicePAK now — will receive support during the duration of the event at no additional cost. This includes free advance exchange of equipment, 24x7 technical phone support and on-site technical support. Alternatively, customers may choose a ServicePAK that provides support only for the duration of the event (May 30-July 12).
