[SatNews] ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company, has announced that Johann Pohany, currently Chief Operations and Technology Officer, will take additional responsibilities as President & CEO of ND SatCom. In his new role, Johann Pohany succeeds Norbert Hölzle, who will join ND SatCom’s parent company SES ASTRA in Luxembourg as Chief Commercial Officer with immediate effect. In a dual leadership, ND SatCom will be headed by Johann Pohany and Oliver Meier, who has served as Managing Director & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since October 2009, leading Finance, Controlling, Legal Counsel, Human Resources and Supply Chain Management for the group and will continue to fulfil these functions. Mr. Pohany joined ND SatCom in January 2008, and oversees ND SatCom’s product lifecycle, groupwide project delivery, quality assurance, IT and world wide sales and marketing.
