Northrop Grumman's King of Estimators and Analysis


Award Imagine Dick Coleman's responsibilities as director of cost/pricing analysis for Northrop Grumman's Information Technology (IT) sector. Then imagine taking the top honor, and receiving 2008 Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis National Lifetime Achievement award presented by Bill Haseltine, president of the Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis. The SCEA National Lifetime Achievement award recognizes candidates who have accomplished significant goals and immense contributions to SCEA's mission of improving cost estimating and analysis in government and industry, as well as enhancing the professional competence and achievements of its members.

He was presented this honor at the International Society of Parametric Analysts (ISPA)/Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SCEA) National Conference in Los Angeles, and he was recognized for his outstanding commitment to a lifetime of cost estimation excellence. He was the only recipient of this award this year. "Dick's tireless commitment to Northrop Grumman in leading rigorous independent cost evaluations has provided material benefits to the company in meeting its financial commitments," said Eric Howell, vice president of contracts, pricing and subcontracts for Northrop Grumman IT. "He is very deserving of this achievement award, and we are fortunate to have him on our team."
