assurance category and confidentiality level required by the Defense
Information Systems Agency (DISA) criteria for assessing the security
posture of commercial satellite offerings to DoD and other federal
agency customers under the Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition
contract vehicle. IA is the practice of managing risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information and the systems and processes used for those purposes.
